Trainer Training in Conflict Management

Conflict Management Training

Maybo has advised on the development of training and trainer standards in conflict management at national and sector level.

Maybo Licensed Tutor Programme enables employers to deliver awarding body accredited Maybo conflict resolution training and physical intervention training through their own tutors. Maybo's cutting edge course development makes it the first choice for trainer development in the delivery of conflict management. In the Maybo licensed programme tutors receive resources, support and access to continuing professional development.

All programmes are accredited by national awarding bodies for tutor and end-user certification

SAFERcare and SAFERwork licensed programmes from Maybo are accredited by City & Guilds and we offer their full suite of qualifications in conflict management and physical intervention for both trainers and staff.

These include 1884, 1886 and 7303.

Trainers and staff can gain the new Edexcel qualifications in physical intervention as part of their training courses with Maybo.

SIA physical intervention approved courses

.Maybo's SAFERcare physical intervention programmes are BILD accredited for adults and children.

SAFERcare PI trainer training is usually run in-house.

Skills for security

Maybo licensed programme in physical intervention for door supervisors and security officers. Maybo provides the market leading programme in physical intervention for private and in-house security professionals in higher risk roles such as door supervision, events, retail security and hospital security.

Trainer certification: Trainers are accredited to deliver physical intervention by Skills for Security and undertake their choice of national qualifications in physical intervention during the 5 day course (Edexcel or City & Guilds, L2 and L3 qualifications respectively). The course covers safer skills to avoid assault, disengage and hold and escort/eject individuals. It delivers comprehensive knowledge surrounding the legal and medical implications of restraint and how to reduce risk.

Staff Certification: Staff that successfully complete this training receive the BIIAB Accredited Certificate in Physical Intervention with the option to complete further qualifications with our awarding body partners. It is not essential to become a BIIAB Centre for Qualifications to offer this BIIAB Accredited programme as it is managed through Maybo. Two of the most active Maybo centres delivering this programme are qualification centres with NOCN and Edexcel.
